We created this Blog, not as a contest with prizes, but more a motivator or a blog to challenge us as creators. It is a central place for us to showcase our work.
The idea started a few years ago with a small group of women meeting every two months at a local coffee shop to present our work. It was a way to motivate ourselves to get our projects done. All those paper supplies, sitting in our cupboards, bought with good intentions were finally being used.
As life got the better of us, the ladies found it more and more difficult to meet on a regular basis. The presentations evolved from physical meetings to this online presentation.
We encourage anyone who needs a little push, a reason to complete projects to use our virtual meeting place to show your work.
Every 2 months the blog will open for entries.
Starting July 1st, 2013, we will have the Anything Goes Motivator. This will repeat every 4 months from July 1st forward, please read the "Anything Goes" page for presentation requirements.
Starting September 1st, 2013 it will be the same idea as the Anything Goes but you need to include a new technique with explanations. Please refer to the "New Technique" page for directions on these presentations. The new technique presentation will repeat every 4 months starting September 1st.
We are open to suggestions. If you have ideas on ways we can motivate each other, send us a comment.
